Write a paper researching the relationships between Deleuze’s Societies of Control, Foucault’s Panopticism in Discipline and Punish and Siva Vaidhyanathan’s The Cryptopticon model.
Cryptopticon is the updated model of the Panopticon which brings in to focus the invisible mechanisms of control like biometrics, data harvesting/mining of multinational companies such as Facebook (Cambridge Analytica Scandal) Google as well as the functioning of digital platforms as surveillance apparatuses.
