Develop a series of formative briefing papers that will analyse and evaluate the key components of one development within the airport system and create an executive summary. The formative briefing papers are: 1.Airport location and Runway/Taxiway/Apron configuration and factors affecting orientation – e.g. analyse and evaluate the location of the development in relation to the operation of the airport with respect to the runway 2.Forecast and actual growth – evaluate any statistical evidence such as a forecast 3.Regulatory authority and relevant text reference – review any safeguarding or regulatory issues that may impact the development 4.Year of conception, construction, commissioning and lead/base airline operator – evaluate any stakeholder impacts due to the proposed development both during and after completion of the project 5.Category of airport, aids to air navigation – identify any airport assets such as navigation aids that may be impacted by the proposed development 6.Identify and justify the development aspect – prepare the executive summary based on the earlier course work and based on the collective evaluations and any other relevant factors to justify the development in relation to a number of perspectives using PESTLE or other relevant/equivalent models. The assignment will consist of six supporting briefing papers and an executive summary, plus any additional artefacts/materials you wish to present to represent Leeds Bradford airport.
