Make an argument about a topic as it is handled in two of the works listed above. Use material from both works to support your argument. In other words, to write this essay, you should connect the two texts around a specific theme, idea, issue, or argument that is raised in both texts. What is important is that you make an argument about how the texts are connected. Making an argument means going to below the surface, so you should not say that both texts deal with the issue of X; instead, say how they are connected.
