Journal #24: Getting Personal (on Social Media)
Nowadays, so many people seem to be sharing EVERYTHING online and making public what were once private moments of their lives. We see first days of school, new jobs, proposals, weddings, babies, hospital stays, funerals, vacations, you name it. Sometimes it seems like people do things for the purpose of taking pictures and putting their stories on Instagram or FaceBook. But what are the consequences of living like this?
How much do you share online and have you ever shared something on social media that you later regretted or decided to remove for privacy purposes? Do you have any friends who “behave badly” on social media? Were there consequences?
I have never had anyone behaved badly on my posts and I don’t really post on social media a lot but sometimes I post some stuff like a family picture on holidays so our relatives overseas could see us since they can’t see us in reality and I’ve never regretted any post I’m not with posting everything on social media but also I’m not against of posting some special moments of their life
It’s not an essay it a journal and no need to use references
