Please look at the RSPO again, but this time as CSR effort that represents a new form of “global governance” (Levy & Kaplan 2009). Do you think the RSPO is succeeding in “democratising governance” through incorporating the active participation of civil society? Or is this essentially a “corporate capture” of regulatory authority – a “privatisation of governance”? Why?
