*A child, 13 years old, is very disruptive in class and has angry outbursts. he or she (you decide) was mandated to counseling. During sessions you notice bruises that are in the shape of a folded cord and other bruises in various stages of healing. When you ask about them the teen refuses to talk about them. Later, in the session he or she mentions that discipline is not fair. He or she says that the punishment is too much because they didn’t do anything that bad.
