Using theories and concepts from our course, analyze your own engagement with or consumption of popular culture. It will be useful to consider one particular type of culture industry invested in producing and selling popular culture. This might include fashion, music, television, film, sport, social media, or video games. Select two or three personal ways that you engage with and consuming popular culture within this culture industry and write an analytical paper to a) description your engagements, b) apply key theories or concepts from the course, and c) offer an in-depth discussion of your new or transformed understanding of how popular culture affects your life.
