Please answer questions in the one by one manner.
q1; For this discussion period, I would like you to share your thoughts on the Stanford Prison Experiment. Specifically, were you surprised with the results and do you think you would have responded the same way if you were made a prison guard in that experiment? Is there something different today that might result in you not responding the way the prison guards did or do you think this is just human nature?
q2; For this discussion, I would like to build on the issue of insanity. I suspect that most of you have run into one or more people in the city who appear homeless or otherwise in bad shape and who appear to have some type of mental illness. They might be talking to themselves, be unclothed, laying in the street doing exercises (my most recent encounter) or making threats to passersby. What do you think should be done about this if anything? I ask because this is the essence of the problem pointed to in early history which was termed social hygiene or keeping society clean. I also want you to assume for this question that there is no treatment or cure for these individuals. They are happy and not a danger to themselves, just out of the norm.
q3; When was Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) formed?
q4; media coveredge and the focus on human interest stories that are often times tied to tragic stuations. we see this today when there is any type of major even in the new media often times go to individuals being involved, family members and such. the argument on one side is that the media by really focusing on human interest aspect of that keeps pressure on the government to take action and try to save those individuals. The government position has tented to be that when you put that type of pressure on us often times we have to deviate from our normal policy of not negotiating with terrorist’s or to negotiatebut not be able to get a long term result. Please think and write about what side you are on. should journalists should be doing wha they are doing and focusing on that human interest or do you side with the government and think media should back off a little bit and let the government take initiative as they want to?
q5; censorship; internet is a free place for everyone to give out information, even terrorists. do you think that government entities should kind of step forward and apply some level of censorship to keep propaganda and ill information from flowing and also how would we know what kind of information should be censored?
q6; https://www.icsve.org/ this website is made to propaganda against the terrorists. do you think it works? look at some of the propaganda videos on the website and explain if you think this is a good way to combat terrorism?
