Policy Analysis Essay: Students will pick a policy issue that is important to them and write an essay addressing each element provided below. This essay should be a scholarly, researched, and referenced presentation in APA format. Ten points will be awarded based upon your use of APA, correct grammar/punctuation and the clarity of your writing. The paper should be between 4 and 6 pages in length (excluding reference and title pages) and is worth 40 points total. There should be a minimum of 5 sources. Please label each section of your paper according to the criteria below.

What are the goals of the policy?
How is the policy implemented?
Is the policy tied to funding? How is funded?
Who provides oversight to ensure the policy is working as intended?
