The term cybercrime means criminal activity on the internet. Most of the activity has been around before computers, but technology has made them easier to commit. As a group, review some of the different crimes and provide useful tips on preventing those type of cybercrimes.
• Phishing and Pharming- Explain what each is. Make sure to give specific examples. Showing a screenshot of it looks like, will help. Include stats via a table or a chart of those who have been affected by Phishing or Pharming.
• Identify Theft- Explain what this topic is. What can your classmates do to prevent identity theft? How many people lost their identity last year? Any other interesting stats?
