This assignment asks you to create your own collection of poetry. Construct your own relationship theme or use a variation of one in our textbook and include four poems that fit this theme. Two of the poems must be from our textbook and twoif you desire–may be from your own writing, music, or poetry collections. Feel free to include graphics.
The poetry anthology must include the following:
-An introduction to you anthology that explains why you chose the poems and how you conceived of the order.
-A typed copy of each poem. Avoid the copy-and-paste method as you will miss the detail.
-A detailed interpretation of each poem (Consider line-by-line or stanza interpretations).
-A detailed explanation of the poetry elements that comprise each poem (This is made easy by considering the chapter the poem falls under).
-A conclusion to your anthology that leaves your readers with something to consider.
You can pick any poem, it starts on page 740.
