DESCRIPTION:
For this assignment, you will compose a proposal on an issue of public concern. Remember that the proposal is more than just an argument paperyou should identify a problem, persuade the audience that it is indeed a problem that needs to be addressed, and then outline a specific, feasible proposal to address the problem.
FORMAT:
The proposal should be about 1,250-1,750 words (about 5-7 pages, double-spaced) and should have a detailed and specific title that reflects the papers message. The proposal should also cite at least three sources, and it should include a thesis statement at the beginning of the paper (in the first or second paragraph) that summarizes your position about your chosen topic (including your argument about the issue and your proposed solution) and justifies the claim with specific evidence. Finally, the proposal should include at least one image or graphical representation that contributes to the readers understanding of the issue.

Summarizes, paraphrases, and quotes when appropriate
Employs MLA style consistently and correctly
Integrates the content from sources into ones own argument
