Develop a paper that describes your own personal theory of addiction and recovery. Special emphasis should be placed on integrating a personal model of recovery that can serve as a basis for guiding your work with clients moving forward. Underlying assumptions should be clearly delineated and supported with an empirical literature. The paper should be comprehensive and 10 pages. It may, for example, describe how addictions begin, what contributes to people becoming addicted to different substances, how recovery should be best determined, and what types of treatment will work best for what types of people. Create a program and answer these questions in a how-things-will-be-done format. Program will be: therapy will be done in a virtual room. So the setting (virtually on the walls) can be in whatever place the client would like to be in at that time. ex. needs to relax so we can virtually go to the beach (the walls of the room will turn to that setting as if we are really there) and will continue therapy in that setting. Maybe go to nature setting?
