Students will compile an annotated bibliography of texts used for tutoring their students (not those provided by the instructor). Every tutor needs to have books and resources readily available to tutor effectively. The purpose of this assignment is two-fold:
Demonstrate your ability to choose appropriate texts for your students
2. to contribute to a comprehensive list of tutoring resources that you can use in your future tutoring.
Texts should be those actually used to assist both the tutor and the tutee in their tutoring sessions. A minimum of 4 texts is required. Do not forget to identify the Lexile level if available. Please use the Owl Purdue online writing Lab for samples of annotated bibliographies. You may use MLA, APA, or Chicago style formatting however a formal style must be used.
