Prepare a Demographic Assessment Report
Your demographic assessment report should include the following:
Introduction
Discussion on the importance of disease rates
Background information on the foodborne illness
Include data on the overall number of illnesses, hospitalizations, and deaths that took place in your state.
Description of the frequency of etiology and mode of transmission in your state.
Description of the frequency of the setting(s) in which the illness took place in your state.
Description of the frequency of food items (IFSAC Category) that took place in your state.
Discussion of how the prevalence and incidence of your selected etiology in your state compares to the U.S.
Discussion of how the odds ratio and risk ratio of illness in your state compares to the U.S with confidence intervals and p-values.
Use graphics (can be a chart or infographic) that depicts the demographic assessment
Provide a conclusion that highlights the risk factors identified in your state.
References should be from reliable sources, such as government websites and peer-reviewed journals
APA formatting should be used for the report.
