For this assignment, you will roleplay as such a consultant for a video game content creator. Specifically, you will select a video game content creator with a relatively small following and examine that creator’s work, including format, channels, and games played. Then, you should address the following prompts:
What do you learn about this content creator from their informational materials?
Do you believe that the content is appropriately represented by these informational materials? Why or why not?
Consider uses and gratifications theory. What audience needs or wants might this creator’s content satisfy for an audience? Are these functions clear from their profile information?
Offer recommendations for how they might expand their viewership and/or subscriber base, such as through more a more active social media presence, different or additional channels, updated profile information, collaborations, etc.

You must cite any external work using a formal citation style like MLA, APA, etc.
You may approach this assignment on a prompt-by-prompt basis or with a more holistic, essay-like style.
Please format your writing in size 12, Times New Roman font on double spaced pages with one-inch margins.
Part 2 Esports event – Fortnite
You will create promotional materials for a potential event to be hosted by the UWRF Esports team, such as an intramural tournament or a more friendly, casual, and open competition. Specifically, you will select one of the titles in which the UWRF Esports team actively competes. These titles include: Valorant, Super Smash Brothers, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, Fortnite, Overwatch, League of Legends, and Call of Duty.
You will assemble what is a planning document for this event, including:
A proposal document/press release that outlines a structure for the event, as well as a plan to promote it on campus. You will also come up with a name for your event.
A review of an existing event featuring your title that you could use as a model, both in terms of structure as well as promotion strategy.
Sample promotional items that would work across different channels, such a flyer, a series of social media posts, an email campaign, a video, an informational table in the UC, etcetera.
Your written copy must be original work, but I do not expect you to create new logos or images.
