Analyze the primary teachings of 4 different scholastic thinkers: Anselm of Canterbury (focus on his argument in Why the God-Man? pg. 233-34), Peter Lombard (focus on his Book IV teachings on means of acquiring the grace of God pgs. 238 – 329, Thomas Aquinas (focus on his understanding of the grace of God and the means of attaining it pgs. 244 – 245), and finally William of Ockham (focus on view of divine grace pgs 246 – 247).
In conclusion of this paper, discuss how these different views of salvation and receiving the grace of God affect the way we live our day to day lives in relationship with God.
