Students will develop a 3-4 minute typed-written speech consisting of a preparation outline, using full sentences, accompanied by a delivery outline (3 x 5 index cards). In-text citations are only necessary in the preparation outline. All material is due on the day you present your oral (delivery) speech. You will be graded on three parts. This speech must be grounded in formal research. The number of sources required for this speech are three (3) sources. This informative presentation requires a cover page, a preparation outline, a delivery outline, and a works cited page. The preparation outline must be typed-written using complete sentences. It must be accompanied by your delivery outline (3 x 5 index cards). The maximum number of cards to be used is 7. Write only on one side.
