FOCUS & EXPAND ON THE SUGGEST SOLUTIONS PORTION OF THE DETAILS: Attached (Case Analysis Project.pdf)

Overview:
In this case analysis project, you will work with your team members and delve into the world of organizational communication by analyzing a real-life case study that showcases significant communication challenges faced by an organizational consultant. The aim is to provide students with a hands-on opportunity to apply theoretical perspectives and concepts learned in the course to a practical scenario, ultimately improving their analytical and problem-solving skills. After reading the assigned case study, you will thoroughly analyze the selected case, focusing on the communication challenges it presents. When analyzing the case, you should use your chosen theoretical framework to analyze the case, identify key communication challenges that the Delta team encounters, and suggest detailed developed suggestions.
Details:
1. Introduction: Case Study Review
In the introduction of your case analysis report, begin by summarizing the case briefly and highlighting its significance.
Read the case study provided and familiarize yourself with the details of the situation.
Students will thoroughly review the provided case study, paying attention to the key players and stakeholders involved in the case study, the context of the situation, and any relevant background information that helps you and your team members understand the issues this team needs to remedy.
2. Identify Issues:
Break down the problems and concerns raised in the case study.
Identify the root causes of the issues and consider any contributing factors. (e.g. ask yourself “What are the fundamental organizational communication issues?”)
Make sure to follow the logical writing format. That is, you have to state the issue you identified and explain why you believe it is the problem we need to pay attention to. You need to have specific evidence and reasoning behind your argument. If you are identifying more than one issue, it is better to put them into a separate paragraph so that it is easy for your group members to follow your logic.
Consider the impact of the issues on the team, the organization, and any other stakeholders involved.
3. Theoretical Applications to analyze the issues and suggest solutions:
Students will be required to identify and select relevant communication theories, models, and concepts covered in the course when analyzing the issues and proposing solutions.
Consider how the theories and concepts can help to explain the issues and identify potential solutions.
Students must justify their choice of theories and explain how these theories can be applied to analyze and/or remedy the communication challenges within the chosen case. (Note: Just mentioning the theory does not mean you applied it. You need to make a clear connection. Elaborate on the theoretical assumptions and connect them with the study’s findings or your solutions.
4. SUGGEST SOLUTIONS
Use theoretical assumptions to support the rationale for your suggested solutions.
Develop a list of potential solutions to address the issues identified in the case study. (When proposing solutions, consider the pros and cons of each solution and any potential risks or challenges.)
Develop specific action plans for implementing the chosen solutions, including timelines, responsibilities, and resources required.
Consider how the solutions can be communicated to the team and other stakeholders, and how their effectiveness can be measured and evaluated over time.
Ensure your solutions align with best practices in organizational behavior and consultancy.
Conclude your report with the potential benefits your suggested solutions will bring.
Other things to keep in mind:
Team Collaboration: Remember, this is a group task. Ensure that each member actively participates, contributes, and that the final report represents the collective effort of the team.
There is no page limit. This can range from a brief paper to an extensive white paper or even just an extensive PowerPoint presentation format.
Submit this assignment as a Google Doc or Google Slides. You must change the setting to “anyone with the link can edit the file” so that I will be able to fully access the file as an editor. Otherwise, your team will not get full credit as I will not request to access it.
Of course, we cannot exactly measure everyone’s contribution with the number (e.g., 20% or 25%). However, I would like to encourage everyone to put in as much as efforts they can in order for a successful team project completion.
Although I can see that most of our teams in this section seem to collaborate well, a few groups are struggling with unequal contributions. To ensure everyone is actively participating and contributing, I want to ensure to see the teamwork process.
Length doesn’t mean quality. However, if you submit a one-page proposal with no elaborate findings and suggestions, that is also not equivalent to a compelling proposal.
Discuss with your team and think of ways to make your proposal attractive and appealing to your audiences.
Submit one copy per team as this is a team project.
Your final product should be written in a professional tone.
The key is to include all necessary information in any way you can.
Make sure to cite sources properly (according to APA style) if you use any.
