Now that you have formulated your research questions and done a thorough literature review on your chosen topic, it’s time to begin the “challenging part”—the novel research! To do this research, you will need to acquire data using a relevant database.
In this assignment, you will locate and describe the appropriate database (or databases) that you will use to conduct your research. Answer the following questions in an engineering memo format:
What database did you choose, and why is it relevant to your research questions? (3-5 sentences)
What sort of data does the database contain? (In addition to a general description, you should also specifically classify the data’s scale(s), frame(s) of reference, kind(s), and number of variables) (3-5 sentences)
Make sure that you provide a full citation of your database in your memo, including a URL. Additionally, it would be helpful for you to begin actually extracting the data you wish to use for your modeling
