Students will select a chapter from the Siegel and Welsh (2017) textbook and write an advocacy brief (paper) related to the topic. For example, if you select chapter 8, you will write an advocacy brief related to juveniles and gangs. If you select chapter 10, you will write an advocacy brief related to juvenile drug use and delinquency. You will use the textb ook and other reliable references, such as academic journal articles and government websites, to write this paper.
