Write the “Hypothesis and specific aims” section of the grant proposal, from the assignment document, which is 1 page in length.
There are 4 primary restrictions with this Grant Proposal assignment: (1) you must utilize nematode worms (Caenorhabditis elegans) in your proposal; (2) you must incorporate cellular, molecular, or physiological approaches in your proposal; (3) the proposal must be novel (i.e., you cannot propose something that someone has already published); (4) the proposal must be feasible (i.e., these experiments could actually be done with technology/reagents/etc. that currently exist). However beyond those limitations, you are free to generate any sort of research grant proposal that interests you.
