Section 10.5 “Heat Exchange in Tissue: Transient and Steady-State Pennes Equation” describes a classic equation/model for bioheat transport in the body. Search the literature for papers modeling bioheat transport and write a short review summarizing the different models proposed. Provide examples of applications of modeling heat transport within the human body. Choose one paper that models bioheat transport and implement the model using MATLAB. The model must be non-steady-state (i.e., have a time derivative) and have at least one dimension derivative. In other words, the model must be a partial differential equation. The report must cite 5 original research papers from peer reviewed journals. The review section must be at least 3 pages double spaced with 0.75 inch margins. For the result section you must explain the terms in the model and specify the initial and boundary conditions. Provide graphical solutions (plots) of the model. Once you have conducted a search of the literature and identify at least 5 different research papers, the paper you select to implement for the project must be approved by the instructor in advance.
