Assignment Question

This assignment is based on the topic selected in Module 1. For this assignment, you will complete an annotated bibliography. The annotated bibliography shoud include 6 sources you find in the FTCC Library system. For these sources, you should find scholarly journal articles devoted to the Social Sciences. You can find these by using the EBSCO Discovery Search at the FTCC library site. Use key words to guide you to the most relevant articles. Remember also to limit your research to the last 5-10 years to find the most current, relevant articles to review. Follow the discipline-specific bibliography documentation conventions for the social sciences. The individual bibliographical entries should be alphabetized and follow the models in our texts and the samples in Module 2 Only database articles will be used for the annotated bibliography. Include six entries; the annotations for each entry should be 150-200 words long. These annotations will contain information about the authors), their background, their thesis and support, their relevance to your research interest, and their similarity/difference from other entries. Include three entries. Follow the same patter for each entry s annotation. Briefly name and introduce the author(s): title, profession, expertise, and so on (1-2 sentences). Summarize the entry’s thesis/claim and main supporting points (1-4 sentences), avoiding quotations/citations if possible. Explain how this entry relates to your topic/theme, and why you chose this entry as part of a representative bibliography (2-3 sentences).
