Select a controversial social issue (Immigration). You are expected to use at least two scholarly or credible sources to support the topic of interest. Additionally, you must include at least one visual image/graphic to support the presentation’s message.

You are expected to support the goals/ideas clearly using claims. Claims may include facts, values, attitudes, and/or evidence that supports the message’s goals.
Questions to consider for this section are …

• Are the claims reasonable?
• Would the message be more memorable/impactful if the message’s claims utilized empathetical approach
Desired Outcome
You are expected to organize their message persuasively. A skillful approach to the delivery of the topic’s message is done in a convincing manner to provoke and/or produce change. The two areas that students will need to address in this section are:
1) how was the message organized and; 2) was it done in a persuasive manner to convince or influence change?
