b. Are MLA citations provided for all direct quotes and paraphrased material?
c. Is there adequate explanation of each quote that ties it to the topic sentence of the paragraph?
Organization/Coherence
1. Are paragraphs connected with transitions?
2. Is there a clear organization between the ideas of each paragraph?
a. Does each paragraph help support the thesis?
3. Do sentences flow together successfully, or is there a choppy structure present?
Grammar/Format
