Its an essay that needs to address the following questions regarding the great depression, preferably one question per body paragraph. I have included a file that is the “Down and Out Letters” and it would be great if you could include and cite a couple quotes from it.
1. What were some of the material problems Americans faced during the Depression? What were some of the emotional or psychological challenges they faced?
2. How did the Depression affect different Americans? Consider how class, race, and gender could have changed a persons experience during the Depression. Why were there differences in their experiences?
3. What did Americans think of Roosevelt and relief programs? How did people from different backgrounds or experiences react to Roosevelts government? What does this tell us about his reforms?
