Write a 3 page (double spaced) essay explaining a process – how something works, how something is made, how something happens, etc. Process Analysis essays are informative in nature, and often is organized as a series of steps to follow. Your introduction should: Grab the reader’s attention using intersting facts or statistics or tell a story. Include your thesis at the end of the paragraph. Your thesis: Should introduce the process you will be explaining. Will explain why the information given in your paper is important to know and understand. Your body paragraphs: Should present the process step by step with specific details. Your conclusion should: Not introduce any new ideas. Restate the thesis, but not word-for-word. Leave off with a final thought about the importance of the process you have covered in the paper.
