Project Five – Influence, Communication, and Organizational Commitment
The purpose of this paper is to synthesize your understanding of concepts in Unit 5 and apply them to workforce development and management for technical leaders today.
You were asked to research and summarize one relevant academic article (less than five years old) highlighting techniques for enhancing organizational effectiveness in Discussion 5. What did you learn from that article (or that of a classmate) that you can use in your professional journey? (minimum of 250 words)
Describe and give examples of a manager’s appropriate use of power and influence. Compare communication channels and appropriate ways for managers to use them. What area(s) do you need to seek additional resources or training to be a successful technical leader – be specific. (minimum of 500 words).
The project should be at least 750 words (approximately three typed pages), double-spaced, with 1-inch margins, and in Times New Roman Font. Provide a cover page and a reference page – in APA format. Minimum of 3 Citations
