I hope to have a draft talking about Indian diaspora in the world, and how it is influencing to India’s soft power capacity.
Many talks, now Indian-origin CEOs dominate the world, and Indian diaspora produced incredibly large number of politicians or government (minister-level) officials in the world (UK, Canada, US, Australia and many other part of the world). The question I receive is how it can possibly support India’s soft power capacity.
I hope the draft contains the following points:
– why soft power is important and how Indian diaspora contributes to it
– the size of Indian diaspora (vis-a-vis other countries’)
– the size of successful people (CEOs, politicians, government officials settled in comparison to other diaspora)
– why global companies invites the Indian-origian to lead their companies
– how India-origin politicians and government officials are successfully settled
– given the fact, can one say India’s soft power capacity is growing?
– if possible, why Indian diapora is more successful than others?
But I would appreciate any other suggestions to include.
