Article Questions
1.Burgess-Proctor talks about empowerment and shifting power differentials. In your own words, explain what this means for helping women who have experienced gender-based violence, specifically catcalling?
2.How should we as researchers act to support empowerment of those women and others that share their stories on the Safecity app?
3.How do we as researchers adopt an attitude of care to give them voice and support the sharing of their stories even though victims are vulnerable and the topic is very sensitive?
Data Questions:
1.There seem to be a total of 16 responses that identified catcalling out of the 75 observations. Most of the issues the participants faced were around domestic violence. What other issues can you identify from the data? [write three issues and these will be used for our discussion.
