You will be writing a research essay that argues or persuades.
This is a research essay, which means you must do academic research. Your paper has to include in-text citations and works cited page. It must be 3-4 full pages in length, not including the Works Cited page. It must be written in 3rd person point of view, using academic language. This means no abbreviations, contractions, slang, etc. Third person means you cannot write about yourself or speak directly to the reader.
