Leaders must develop a plan and goals for their organization. A balanced scorecard addresses the four major areas of focus.
In a 2- to 3-page paper, you will create a balanced scorecard for your organization, identifying goals and programs for the next year.
Step 1. Research
Using online searches, find goals, measures, and initiatives applicable to an organization like yours. Refer to the required readings for an example of a balanced scorecard template.
Step 2. Synthesize
Based on your research, identify goals, measures, targets, and initiatives applicable to your specific organization.
Step 3. Prepare
Prepare a description of the balanced scorecard (BCS) for your organization:
Identify goals, measures, targets, and initiatives to meet those targets for each of the four BSC dimensions. Identify at least two goals for each component of the BSC.
Create the BSC either graphically or in outline form.
Step 4. Summarize and Reflect
In a 2- to 3-page APA-formatted paper, summarize your work (Steps 1-3) and reflect on the process of developing a balanced scorecard (BSC) for your organization. Consider challenges and opportunities.
Notes:
Please use three APA 7 references. I have included two; please use these two and find one more.
Please note this requires a balanced scorecard (BSC) graphic/outline and a reflection.
