One of your major assignments this semester is to submit a short paper (600-800 words) for feedback and then to revise as final copy for grading.
INSTRUCTIONS:
This course is called “Journey of Transformation,” so it is worthwhile to consider your own journey of the past several years and what you have learned from it as reflected in some of our readings to date. Please write a LETTER to yourself from early in your High School experience. In this letter, address (but do not limit yourself to) these questions:
1. What ADVICE would you give your younger self that you know now (what is the basis for that advice?)?
2. What do you know about yourself as a person now that you did not know then (and how did you learn that?)?
3. Are there specific experiences, learning opportunities, personal risks that you would tell yourself to embrace OR avoid (and what is your basis for that?)?
In your letter, cite ideas that you have learned from AT LEAST TWO of our readings so far using proper in text MLA format and a formal reference page. When using the cited material, make certain that you contextualize it and clearly explain how it helps you answer the question or questions for your paper.
