1 Identify and critically evaluate the social construction of youth and its impact on policy and practice.
2 Identify and analyse the responsibilities of the key agencies that comprise the youth justice system.
3 Identify all the elements of the youth justice process and its impact on society, victims and young offenders, including discriminatory and exclusionary effects.
4 Critically evaluate the way youth justice policy making is constructed including the role of ideology, research, government and other key organisations.
