Write three short essays (maximum 300 words) with each of the essay’s arguments linking three terms, concepts, or technologies we investigated in class – one from each of the three columns.
You will be graded on your ability to write an argument creatively and concisely for each essay while demonstrating your understanding of the terms you choose.
Student creates a thoughtful, focused, and well-written paper that meets all the requirements. Demonstrates a clear relationship with readings and concepts which are correctly defined and grounded in the class content. Displays excellent critical thinking skills. Fleshes out ideas with plenty of examples and elaboration. Arguments are clear and backed by strong evidence. Writing is clear, concise, and well-structured with an introductory paragraph and several supporting paragraphs. Contains little to no typos or mistakes in grammar. Bonus if sources are cited, there’s a works cited page, and the use of terms and the arguments made from them are unique, unexpected, and interesting.
