Written Assignment (Academic Paper)
Students will submit a scholarly paper, 5 pages double-spaced, on a topic related to human development (excluding title and references page). Any written material that extends the 5-page limitation will not be marked. Integration of theoretical perspectives must be included in your paper. See grading rubric.
Topics must be approved in advance by the instructor. It must be a scholarly paper using peer reviewed literature and be written in APA 7th Edition format. The paper MUST include 5 references from peer-reviewed journals. Remember: A research article is a peer reviewed publication where research has been completed. Examples of peer-reviewed journals: Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Journal of Social Issues, Development and Psychopathology.
