This is a 3,200-word essay on a subject chosen from a set list of five thematic questions. On March 18, I only need a detailed outline. Please tell me which question you want to write about first. Then write out the basic structure and indicate how you are going to answer the question. Please hold on to the rest of the paper until I hear back from the professor. The thematic questions are:
1) Using specific examples from the luxury brands field, critically consider the role of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
2) Consider different definitions of traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions and describe the main forms of legislation available to protect it with regard to the luxury brands field.
3) Consider carefully the tension between protecting traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions and the development of luxury brands that use cultural-based aspects of traditional intellectually property knowledge.
4) Critically consider the major forms of legislation designed to protect luxury brands while permitting creative opportunities.
5) With appropriate examples, please present what are the main challenges associated with monitoring and enforcing luxury brand legal protection across national borders.
