1. A major case focus is on BP’s communications strategy after the disaster. Discuss many facets of effective communication: How it occurs, what helps facilitate good communication, and what hinders effective communication. Discuss two (2) major communication concepts from the case that were effective and explain why they were effective, using chapter concepts as they relate to the case.
2. Now/next, discuss two (2) ineffective communication strategies that were employed in the case, citing the chapter concept explicitly. Show breadth of your knowledge across the chapter, rather than limiting your response to one section for both questions 1 &2.
3. Identify the formal and informal groups in the case. Which ones, if any, do you infer likely experienced collective efficacy prior to the spill? Why? Which ones, if any, had collective efficacy after the spill? Why?
4. Describe 2-3 team task concepts that are present in the case.Develop a case analysis (coherent response) that answers the four (4) questions listed below. Use APA standards for your paper (double-spaced, 1″ margins, 11-point font, paragraphs) and limit it to 6 pages maximum (about 250 words, double-spaced fill a “page”). A thorough analysis will be about 1000-1500 words. You MUST number your question responses. (Do not rewrite the questions on your final submission.) Name your file correctly.
