Write a paper about strategic planning in healthcare organizations and should describe the process of preparing a strategic plan. The paper should describe each step in the process, and this will include:
what strategic planning is and why it is done
benefits of strategic planning
how the plan is determined
how the plan will be executed
how and when success is defined
how all stakeholder groups can take part in the planning process

Most organizations have a mission statement in place because it was created when the organization was founded and adapted to comply with changing times over the years. So, creating a mission statement is not usually part of the strategic planning process.
Reviewing the mission as a starting point, and a reminder to all involved, is a best practice often done to insure that the plan is consistent with the mission of the organization.
This paper does not require detailed explanations of how to complete the various tasks required. Since this is a generic discussion, goals and objectives can not be identified. However some discussion about what areas of the organization could be considered and possibly identified as part of the plan may be appropriate. Obviously, the Board and Executive management is ultimately accountable.
