Professor’s Paper expectations:
The expectation for article responses is that your writing is not a simple summary but something more comprehensive, including your position and opinions about what you’ve read, and how the content of the reading may have (or will) affect your pedagogical practice.
1). It should reflect your background knowledge and opinion regardless of your teaching experience. Experience as a learner is as valid as your opinion.
2). You can disagree with things you read, but regardless of your alignment you should explain your point of view.
3). The response should be 3 pages. However, understand that length does not equal quality… Three pages of a weak response is a weak response…
4). Grammar, spelling and punctuation matter.
