From the four perspectives presented in class and in the readings, choose the one that most closely relates to how you read Genesis 1. Write a summary of the meaning of Genesis 1:1-2:3 in your own words, from that perspective. The perspective from which you’ve written the summary should be discernible without your naming it explicitly. Then, write a page in which you identify which of the four perspectives you chose and explain why you think this approach to Genesis 1 is the best of the four.
