The health of the nation and world has the potential to be threatened on many accounts. Examples include natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, tornado’s, floods, wild fires), pandemic outbreaks (swine and avian flu, MRSA, AIDS/HIV, Covid-19) and domestic and foreign violence (bio terrorism, mass casualties, war, school violence). People must be protected, and when a disaster/ emergency strikes, be adequately prepared. As a health care provider, others will rely on you for accurate and up-to-date information. Select a real life potential threat to the health of our nation.
