Over the course of the next 8 weeks students will complete a project called the Organizational Dashboard Project. The purpose of this project is to choose one organization, corporation, nonprofit, or group (neighborhood group, Kiwanis Center, etc.) that students are planning an event for. This event will include community development aspects (modules 1-3 concepts that lead up to the Community Development Plan) and community engagement aspects (Modules 4-6 that lead up to the Community Engagement plan).
In Module 4, the student will do two things in a 1–2-page paper

Do some Asset Mapping—What PLACES does your organization have that would enhance the event? (Has various clubhouses with ample space both indoor and outdoor along with large kitchen and dinning) What things can your organization offer that would add to the event? (Sense of community and belonging) Why are these things important to your project? (Best help those struggling with mental health issues) Choose one of your Mock Community Board members to work on securing/implementing the assets as it relates to your project.
