Since Renaissance art is considered a “rebirth” of Greco-Roman art, it is not surprising that there are examples from the two different time periods that, when placed side-by-side, appear very similar in style and design.
1 Find and save an example of Renaissance architecture and an example of ancient Greek or Roman architecture that appear similar to each other.
2 Find and save an example of Renaissance painting and an example of ancient Greek or Roman painting that appear similar to each other.
3 Find and save an example of Renaissance sculpture and an example of ancient Greek or Roman sculpture that appear similar to each other.
Paste and label the three pairs of images into a Word document, and for each, include a one or two-sentence explanation for why the examples are alike.
