Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become critical for the success of modern corporations and companies must ensure that they invest heavily in CSR initiatives to socially, economically and environmentally impact different groups of shareholders/stakeholders positively. However, not all types of leadership advance CSR, and this study aims at looking at different types of leadership and how they influence corporate social responsibility behaviours, such as transformational, transactional, situational, ethical, autocratic, pacesetting, democratic, coaching, laissez-faire, affiliative etc. Key terms: Gender, corporate responsibility, influence and behaviors Country / geographical area: Cayman Islands, Sector / industry / company: The jurisdiction of the Cayman Islands have only a few industries, the main stead is the major international financial centre. Research method: Data to be collected will be from primary sources with some secondary aspects. The secondary data will be obtained by reviewing existing literature on the subject of the research. Primary wise both qualitative and quantitative research will be employed. Interviews will be used; this will help in the collection of primary data needed to complete this research.
