While behaviorism is not an intuitive way of thinking to many of us, a little deeper thought may convince us that there is something worth thinking about in this view. What do you think of the behaviorist impulse–that there is a real sense in which most of us have become what our environment and genetics have led us to become? And how might this way of thinking apply to the actual ways we make our decisions or how we treat others, especially those who we understand the least?
