Amidst the many controversies that surround the U.S. healthcare financing and delivery system, on
December 19, 2017, the U.S. Congress passed the most sweeping rewrite of the tax code in decades. While the full effects of the new tax plan remain to be seen, it is essential for healthcare leaders to understand the impact of the bill on their patients, practice, and society at large. Use the below three questions to guide the development of your paper.
Write an academic paper that addresses the following:
• Outline the potential and real impacts of the 2017 U.S. tax plan on healthcare. Express your position, considering the implications of the bill; it can either be positive or negative.
• How would some of the provisions of the new tax plan affect the patients in your facility, clinical practice, and /or the communities where you work? IMPORTANT! Currently, The Philadelphia Community needs to be addressed
• Describe in detail Healthcare leaders’ roles and responsibilities to maintain/expand access to healthcare under the current U.S healthcare delivery system within the context of the Affordable Care Act. Use 3 examples of innovative leadership/nursing practice models to support your position/ strategy to maintain/expand access to healthcare
