Research your topic in the library to find books and articles on your topic. Narrow your theoretical sources by determining which books and articles address that topic and which do not.
Select the theoretical framework for the analysis, e.g. Halliday’s taxonomy of types of cohesive relationships, CDA framework, genre analysis framework, a.o.
Develop an analysis of the discourse by doing a descriiptive analysis or a comparative analysis of the selected texts, using the terms of the relevant theoretical framework.
Submit a report: 3000 words (a list of references and appendixes are excluded). It should have 1) an introduction (importance of the theme, research question(s) or a hypothesis, aim(s)), 2) a brief literature review, presenting the theoretical framework for the empirical analysis, 3) an empirical part, 4) conclusions, 5) references (at least 5 sources), 6) an appendix.
