End-of-Course Project Assignment and Presentation

The Assignment:
All students enrolled on the course are required to do this assignment and make the presentation.
Course students are individually required to provide a corrected and updated version of their original draft research proposals, submitted earlier, taking into consideration the feedback I made on the original versions of their research proposals. The written assignment will be followed by a PowerPoint Presentation, given by individual students of their individual work in front of class.
The assignment is twofold,
1. Form 1 (10 points): to be filled out (provided below) and emailed to instructor
2. Research Proposal (20 Points): Complete Research Proposal that includes all the sections, as pointed out in Form 2 (provided below).
PowerPoint Presentation (10 points): PowerPoint Presentation (7-12 slides only) of the research Proposal given by individual students in front of their class on Thursday 29 December 2022. Every student will be given 7-10 minutes to present their work.
Please note: Students who have reservations about presenting in front of the class will lose 2 out of 10 points.

2. Research Proposal (Points assigned: 20 points)
Important Note:
Research Proposals should abide by APA 7th Edition Style Format rules. It should include the following sections:
1. Introduction: This should include:
a. Your topic
b. Context for your research
2. Background Significance:
Explain why your research is important and how it will be useful to research in the field
3. Literature Review
Include at least four resources, two of which are recent articles from reliable journals. Write a good literature review of resources that you are going to use in your research project.
4. Research Design and methods
a. Mention the type of research you will use (i.e., qualitative, quantitative, analytical, descriiptive, etc.);
b. Mention what data you are going to use;
c. Point out the tools you will use to collect your data;
d. Mention any potential difficulties you expect and how you will handle them.
5. Suppositions and Implications
Introduce the possible solutions to your research problem and state how your work will contribute to your field and state how your findings are likely to be valuable to the field of your interest.
6. Conclusion
Summarize your research proposal and state how your Research Proposal will solve your stated research problem and purpose.
7. References
Following the APA referencing Style format (7th edition), make the reference entries of your resources (a minimum of four references) you will use in writing the project.
